I recently enjoyed a delightful stay at Villa Filip, an enchanting spot nestled in the charming village of Trpejca. Just a two-minute stroll to the lake, the location was nothing short of spectacular, offering stunning balcony views that felt like a scene out of a postcard. The hospitality was warm and welcoming, even though the owners primarily spoke Macedonian - their daughter stepped in to bridge the language gap, making for light-hearted conversations over coffee. Although my room was a bit chilly, the peaceful atmosphere made it easy to overlook, and I loved the simplicity of it all; it felt both cozy and authentic. Perfect for travelers seeking tranquility without breaking the bank, I'm already planning a longer visit to soak in more of the picturesque surroundings-and, of course, to share the experience with my husband and our two dogs!
